Veterans Memorial Wall Replica
Dedication on Memorial Day Weekend
On
Saturday, May 29th, The Wildwood Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans
of America, along with the American Legion Post 184, are planning
to dedicate "The Wall" consisting
of 70 concrete panels with a length of 235 feet, a center height
of 6 feet and angling down to 22 inches on each side. This will
take place at Wildwood's Columbus Park, across the street from
The Convention Center and only 2 blocks from LeVoyageur Motel.
On
Monday, May 31st, a ceremony will take place at The Veterans Monument
on 1st & Spruce Avenues, North Wildwood at 10AM. Later the
event moves to the American Legion Post 184 at Baker & Atlantic
Avenues, Wildwood, for all service organizations, and is only
3 blocks from LeVoyageur.
